After the latest update to version 8.11 for tvOS 16.1, a disturbing bug appeared when playing music.

The problem is definitely due to the tvOS client because it only happens when playing with Apple TV and after having updated to version 8.11 (I tested with an outdated client on a different Apple TV and it works perfectly without this issue).

Basically, it happens that at each skip of a song that has already begun but not yet completed, during the playback of the next one in background you’ll continue to hear the one you’ve skipped. And this in an infinite loop, thus, if 10 started songs are skipped, 10 songs are heard in the background plus the one played in the foreground.

The client for tvOS has practically become unusable to listen music.

And even worse is the fact that to restore the situation you have to restart Apple TV, or disconnect from your account and reconnect it again.
