Previous track in the background keeps playing when try to skip track

When I try to skip a track in the iOS app, skipped track keeps playing in the background at very low volume.

Having the same problem in version 8.9

Also having the same issue on iOS version 8.9. Purchased the IAP for playing back audio.

Having same issue on Apple TV 4K. Do Plex ever respond to clearly serious bugs like this reported on forums or is another route needed? Support pages say not to report if someone else has on the forum, but I don’t see even an acknowledgement.
