After upgrading Plex, now I can't reach my server and it appears that port 32400 isn't available.

I’m running Plex on my Thecus nas which was working perfect well until I upgraded to 09.15.xxx Broken.
I signed in and tried 09.16.xxx Still no joy…help!!!

Are you talking about remote access problems or being unable to use a web browser on a computer on your internal network to access your Plex server?

Similar issue to mine - something definitely seems afoot at the moment with myplex access.

Hi kegobeer, no all internal. Can’t browse to it at all. Have tried multiple browsers, even from the iOS app on the same subnet. Nothing :frowning:

What if you use http://ip.address.of.plexserver:32400/web?

Yip tried that, port scan also reveals 32400 isn’t there…

UPDATE: went back to 09.9.xx and it works…might try to u/g to 09.12

Now I’m going to have to go back to 09.12

Are you sure it’s not a problem of your local setup? Didn’t see that you provided any server logs. Without them people can only support you in your complaint, but actualy can’t support you to find a solution for your problem.

I am using plex for years now and except problems related to some changes in 1.5.x, I never had any problems with users having remote acess problems.

The problems I had with 1.5.x could be isolated to settings in the OS (Synology/Linux) that restricted how many files could be added to the list of file event change watchers. I simply had a too large library for the default settings.
