I have a Raspberry and I am using Rasplex, I am very happy with it. The only problem is when I use Airplay. I have to wait about 10 seconds until my selected music starts playing. When I change the volume I also have to wait 10 seconds, what could be the reason for this? When I start playing my iTunes is working fine, according to iTunes the music is playing but in Rasplex is not, after 10 seconds it starts. When I start new music I see the seconds switching from 0 to 1 and back again a few times until it starts playing. My Macbook Pro is connected via a good wifi connection, the Raspberry is connected by a cable.

Most Plex clients (including Rasplex) have a problem with Airplay, so much so that it was removed from the Plex iOS app some time ago. When Plex Inc find a fix for this and update their clients then Rasplex will benefit from these fixes. For now we are stuck with it.
