Airplay query

I don’t currently have my Plex server externally accessible. I have a Plex pass.

If I run a native iOS app such as the Music app, I can select Airplay targets (including my Sonos speakers, my A/V receiver etc). However, in Plex when I tap the cast button, I don’t see any of these listed.

(I did link my Sonos speakers in my Plex account, and they then show in the target list, but it doesn’t work obviously as my PMS isn’t externally accessible).

Can Plex not Airplay direct to airplay enabled targets?
