I’m running the server on a Nvidia Shield and storing the media on the Shield via an expanded drive, all of the artwork for movies is working fine but if I add music it doesn’t show any artwork / album cover at all.
If I click to edit an album in recently added music and then poster the correct artwork is in there and if I click on it and save changes it displays correctly on the home page under recently added music.
If I now click into the music folder the same album doesn’t have any artwork showing. again I can go to edit and poster whilst it’ll have one picture of the correct artist it’s not the same as the correct album artwork that was present in recently added.
Does anybody know what might cure this and ideally display the correct album artwork in the music folder automatically to save me having to go through each one to find a picture and link it???
Cheers for the replies … not the news I wanted to hear but it’ll save me hours of trawling the net trying to find a solution … I can spend that time instead uploading them individually.

There’s so little choice of media servers for music that store you music locally rather than could based and are Chromecast compatible it’s not true which is a shame.
I have the same problem. When you state “Version 1.16.1.1273 - no artwork,” is that a definitive statement from plex (that there simply is no way to add artwork)?
Are these message boards the only form of contact available to customers with problems?
Pretty sure this has been fixed or is 95% better than what it was. I import new albums every day and 95% of the time it finds the cover art that is either included in the album or downloads the correct cover art.
