I’m baffled why the music album view does not include its release year.
It depends on your sorting selection.
If the library is sorted by:
- Title - the album title and artist name are displayed.
- Album Artist - the album artist and album title are displayed
- Year - the album artist, album title, and year are displayed
- Release date - the album artist, album title, and release date are displayed.
- etc.
If your library is sorted by Year and an album is displayed without a year, it probably means that Plex doesn’t have that information. There could be a few reasons for that.
Thank you for your response. I apologize for not being clearer. I’m referring to the album detail page. The one including the track list and album review. It lacks the release year.
