Alexa and Plex Player discovery

For my home network I have all my IoT devices on a separate VLAN, including Alexa devices.

When I try to use the Alexa Plex skill to play a movie on my Plex Players (Samsung TV and Nvidia Shield) Alexa cannot find any of my Plex Players. It has no problems finding my Plex Server but Alexa can’t seem to find any Plex Players.

To test I put my iPhone on the same VLAN as Alexa devices and it has no problem finding my two Plex Players mentioned above., so I know Plex can work between the VLANs.

Anyone know what discovery mechanism the Alexa Plex Skill uses to discover Plex Players? Which network port it needs to work properly?
