Hi,

I’ve successfully linked my plex to Alexa as per instructions on the plex site. Everything appears to be working. I can ask "Alexa ask plex to play " and it will play the next episode. However it will then respond with “Uh oh something went wrong. We’ve alerted the plex team…”. In fact all commands do execute properly but end with that same response.

This is strange as when I first set it up, it was all working fine and it would respond with “Enjoy Season X Episode X of TV show”.

I’ve tried linking and unlinking, restarted everything and still get the same error. Any suggestions?

Just enabled Alexa with Plex on my Fire TV. Everything works fine except for the annoying error message Alexa says every time Plex successfully executes a command. Did anyone invert the form codes?

This issue is still occurring for me.

But there are deeper issues it would seem.

The Easter Eggs aren’t working. Asking Plex to play Die Hard or Super Troopers for example, either movie will start playing, however instead of the expected Easter egg, I just get the something went wrong error.

Just installed my first Alexa device and I am getting the same issue. ‘Uh Oh somehting went wrong’ and then the actions seems to complete ok.

Just got my plex set up with my phone and same issue with every command. Anyone found a fix?
