Alexa Giving the Wrong Item upon Specific Playlist Request

Server Version#: Version 1.21.0.3616
Player Version#: Fire OS 6.5.4.1 (Amazon Echo Show 5)

I’ve been trying to get my Alexa to play the specific playlist in my library called, “Hey, Hey! It’s a Ska-Punk Christmas!” My Alexa knows I’m saying those words, (I checked under my app’s Voice History section), but it’s instead playing a song called “It’s You” by the Crombies from my server. I narrowed down the issue to being that Plex is interpreting the “It’s” word wrong. I figured this out by renaming my playlist “Hey, Hey! A Ska-Punk Christmas!” instead. My point is, will this be fixed? I’ve had this name for my playlist ever since I created it, even on my Spotify account (Proof and not-so-subtle plug).

Please do work on it! Thank you!

Can you recreate the request then get me your PMS logs? Plex Media Server Logs | Plex Support

Got the logs after recreating it, here you go.

Thanks, I think I see what’s going on. Can you provide me a screenshot from Alexa showing it recognized the command?

Here’s the screenshot.

Hi, sorry to bother you, but did you figure out the problem?

I have a theory but still waiting for verification from the team. If it turns out to be correct, I’m still not sure when the fix will be available.

Okay, no worries. Could you update me as you guys make progress?
