Been using plex on alexa since launch without issue, however for the last week or so, it randomly stopped working. I believe it was after I updated plex server to the latest version. Now I always get “your plex server does not appear to be online”, however it’ online and works great, can interact with it via laptop or roku manually without issue.
Tried re-configuring the plex skill, no luck. Figured this was a widespread problem so waited a week but see no one’s talking about it outside of a reddit thread I found.
At first it was even weirder, as it told me it couldn’t find the server, yet it still interacted with it. So I’d ask to watch a show, it’d say it can’t then the show would start anywy. After a couple of days like that it stopped being able to interact at all.
