I keep running into an issue with just one recording for the show Young Sheldon. I have it set to record only new episodes, but for some reason it keeps recording every episode that airs. I don’t have this problem with any other show.
If I cancel the pass and re-schedule it again, the same thing happens. For the life of me I cannot figure why it just does this for this show. It might be picking up episodes from other channels, but I don’t see any way to have it pick them up just from CBS.
If anyone has an idea, I would greatly appreciate it.
Looking at your screenshots it shows that all of those episodes have been labelled in your guide as being new. Can you post a screenshot of your guide? Are you using the Plex provided guide? If so, which zip code and line up did you select.? If you are using your own XMLTV data, well there is something wrong with that data.
I think I found a way around it but it seems odd. I deleted the pass and then went through the guide to locate the most current episode and recorded it from there. That fixed it.
However if I just search from Plex for Young Sheldon it appears to be picking up all episode on any channel it finds it on. I my case, it was on CBS as well as Nickelodeon.
