All episodes of all shows are being matched to the same show

Earlier today, I noticed a show in my library: Welcome to Flatch - which previously had 7 episodes, was suddenly showing 12 seasons & 242 episodes. Looking deeper, it seemed that every episode in my library was being counted as an episode of Welcome to Flatch.

Things I tried to fix it:

1. Update server version
2. Rescan library
3. Restart server
4. Remove the Welcome to Flatch folder from my library — this actually caused all those episodes to now appear under “Never Have I Ever” - a show I don’t actually have in my library.

Screenshot shows some of the files listed under File Info for S1 E1 of Never Have I Ever. It’s basically every S1 E1 of every show I have. Oddly, the shows those episodes actually belong to are unaffected - they still have all their episodes with the right files.

I don’t think there’s any problem with my naming scheme - it was fine until today.

why do you have two “TV shows” folders here?

var/services/homes/plex /TV Shows/TV Shows/…

Which is those “TV Shows” folders is set as the folder in the library’s settings? If you need to keep them like that for some reason it should be the second one.

Sometimes you just need someone else to notice something obvious.

I had somehow copied my entire TV Shows folder into subfolder TV Shows/TV Shows - still don’t know why everything matched that way, but deleting the duplicate directory solved the issue.
