All my android apps appears can't connect to the server

Server runs on my qnaq NAS, version:1.40.2.8395 (latest version)

3 Android devices (an android tv, an projector and Pixel5 ) have same problem, appears server offline; in the same network, my iPhone, Windows PC or just web connect to server well

the server is remote ,using ipv6 address for remote access, already setting ssl certificate in .p12 format (may be cause this problem, but I don’t know how to fix it)

have tried delete and re-install the apps, log out and in, doesn’t work

When you add your own P12 certificate to PMS (Settings - Server - Network - Show Advanced)

You must make certain to have 3 elements

  • The key
  • The certificate
  • The CA which issued the certificate

Self-signed certificates won’t work.

Is this what you’ve done?

the certificate is issued by TrustAsia

it seems going well when connecting by plex web client, my chrome indicates the connection is secure and the certificate is valid

so I think the certifate does work, but somehow only the android app can’t connect with server

I set the setting of “allow insecure connection” as “always” in 1 of my android device, then it connect to server good

which indicates the android app may have promblem in https connection?
