I just installed and joined the Plex server universe. I’m trying to get the Plex DLNA server to shared up all the movie files I have to the PC’s in the house and to the Dish Hoppers and Joeys. The install went very smoothly and the Plex player from all the PC can sever all the videos and music, however my biggest goal is to get the Dish Hopper to be able to play the movies. The hopper can see the DLNA server but it shows no video or media. The windows media player has the same results it sees the Plex DNLA server, but does not see any media. I believe this is due to profiles, I guess I have to make a profile for these clients? And how would I go about doing that?
