All TV shows freeze for first 5 seconds of play

When I initiate play for a TV Show in my library, the playback starts immediately, I can hear the sound from the beginning, but the video on the screen starts out frozen, appearing to be from about 5 seconds into the video. After those first five seconds, the video starts playing normally (and remains synced with the sound). But I miss those first few seconds of video.

If, during this frozen state, I hit back/rewind on the remote, the video goes back to the beginning (as it should only a few seconds into playback) and then plays normally.

This is happening on every TV show I play, all of which (in case it matters) are MKV videos with AAC 5.1 sound. Not sure when this behavior started, but I’m pretty sure it’s from a recent beta release (either client or server). It is 100% reproducible.

Currently running Plex for Android 8.25.0.28473-beta and Server (Windows) Plex Media Server 1.24.4.5081.

Thanks for sharing this link - obviously the same problem I’m having and good to see it is actively being worked on.
