When in Timeline view, all videos uploaded through Camera Upload are sorted into the day of whenever I’m viewing it, which right now is Sep 25, 2017. If I open the app tomorrow (regardless of platform), it’ll show all videos ever taken, along with photos from that day, in the same day.
I experience something similar - my uploaded videos are placed in the Timeline based on the date it was uploaded. It seems that the camera upload feature on iOS is not applying time/date of video content in the same fashion as the photos. For me photos work like a charm but videos miss the time/date when it was recorded (or get the timestamp of when uploaded…)
Same problem here. Had a look at the metadata of the uploaded files and it seems that for Videos uploaded from iPhone the only correct date is “CreationDate”. I assume that Plex is grabbing “CreateDate”. Can someone confirm this?
