I’ve run into a situation, where it would be nice if Plex was allowed to take over more processor usage, when needed. Pushing other processes to the background and throttling their usage. Also when Plex does not need more processor resources, then releases those processes back to the system for other applications to make use of.
If this is already being done, that’s Great! I just noticed, that this would help with buffering issues, when I am running other processes, such as encoding movies in the background, while Plex server is running.
