I have a show on my Plex server that has multiple audio tracks labelled English, but the first one is a descriptive track rather than the default English mix. If I edit the show properties I can change the preferred audio language (currently “Account default”), but since the correct English track is the second one with that label, I still have to manually switch audio tracks on each episode when it’s playing and all other users have to do the same.
I’ve seen a similar request around subtitles from a while back (which is where almost all searches online for this issue get directed first), but that was resolved with nothing that allows me to select specific audio tracks.
Feature request: Surface all audio tracks (including multiples with the same language tag) when editing a movie/show/season/episode and allow the administrator to set a server-wide default track for all users.
