Most all of my video files have extras from the blu-ray, and this sometimes includes multiple trailers. Whichever one sorts to the top is the one the system will play using the Trailer button or Cinema Trailers.
Maybe if there were a way to tag it differently instead of filename-trailer.mp4?
Actually, probably a better idea would be just to allow the user to manually sort Extras (as that would be hugely useful in itself) and the first trailer would be the main one.

Yeah, that would be nice, but in the mean time just name the one you want as a trailer and the rest as a scene. I don’t bother with the different types since I have that in the name so I ignore that part.
So I’ve previously grumbled about low res trailer content and it now looks like there is some high quality content becoming available HOWEVER there is NO way to select is to override the default trailer…
Example is ‘Flash Gorden’ 1980
The default selected trailer is 360p but there is one titled 4k that is available as part of the already licensed content (plex pass pays for content) that is shown on screen…
How do I select it to be the default trailer?
My family wont browser for trailers they just hit the trailer button…
Yeah I think what we need is a simple drag to change order? With no1 being the trailer that is played when the trailer button is hit.
Note -
If you manually download a trailer and add it to the movie folder with the ‘flash garden-trailer.mp4’ attribute it will automatically become the no1 position.
But nothing to re-order supplied licensed by plex content.
