First of all I’d like to thank the Plex Pass group for making such a fine product and for keeping it up to date. Awesome job guys. I’m a Plex Pass subscriber btw.
I’ve played around the Plex settings and I could not find a setting where I can play my downloaded trailers in the exact order I want them before pre-roll and main move. I’d prefer not doing random trailers on certain movie nights I have at home with friends.
Is there a particular setting(s) I’m not doing? Thanks in advance for anyone’s help.
There is no such thing as a predefined ‘trailer playlist’.
Automatic trailers are chosen depending on whether they suit the age rating of the main feature. From the list of available trailer which fit this criterium, one (or several) is chosen at random.
If you have indeed downloaded some particular trailers, I propose you put them into a special ‘Home Video’ library (which you create just for this purpose).
Then create a dumb playlist to which you add your trailers in the order you desire and the main feature at the end.
When movie night arrives, play the playlist.
