If I have a recording in progress, and have set it to continue recording after the scheduled show’s time by setting “Minutes after end”, I can’t start watching the recording during “minutes after end”. (I’m using primarily a Roku Plex Preview app as the player.)
This is a typical use case for me when recording sports. For example, I set a recording for a game scheduled to air from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, and also set “Minutes after end” to 60 just in case it goes into OT. At 7:15 PM I decide I want to start watching this game from the beginning, but I can’t. In the Live TV grid view the game is no longer available to select because it is past it’s time slot, and there is no way to initiate watching from the “DVR Schedule”. I have to either wait until 8:00 PM for the recording to finish, or I have to change “Minutes after end” to have the recording stop (and also have to hope the game is actually over because I don’t want to sneak a peak at that channel live and accidentally find out the result.)
