RIDICULOUSLY DIFFICULT TO UNINSTALL PLEX MEDIA SERVER FROM WINDOWS 8.1
Honest to god, I will convince everyone I know - friends, family and on social media to AVOID PLEX LIKE THE PLAGUE.
2 hours online to find a solution to uninstall Plex media server program is utterly ridiculous - and still haven’t found
a solution which works and I’ve tried lots.
Dreadful, utterly dreadful
You uninstall it like every other Windows Software:
From the Windows control panel “Add/Remove software”

Hi - thanks for your suggestions - tried this several times (which would be the normal method of uninstallation) and got error 0x80070643, I then tried the in depth cleaning method you suggested above, still won’t uninstall

Thank you for your help, this was driving me nuts, but to have to do internet searches, register with a forum and have to
post questions and ask for help, just to uninstall a program is ridiculous.
