Currently, multi episode file names are interpreted in a way that the file is supposed to include alle episodes from the first episode to the last episode found in the file name. E.g. a file name with “s01e24e26” in it is interpreted to include episodes 24, 25 and 26 whereas “s01e25e27” is interpreted to include episodes 25, 26 and 27.
However, the airing order of episodes may be different, e.g. in other countries. So I often have the case in which above examples of multi episode files actually contain only episodes 24 and 26 and episode 25 and 27, respectively. Even worse, some times I have files which include e.g. episode 27 and episode 24 in reversed order, meaning episode 27 comes first. If I name the file “s01e27e24”, episode 24 is not indexed at all.
I would therefore suggest to alter the nameing convention of multi-episode files to a more sophisticated model:
“s01e25-e27” or “s01e25-27”: file contains episodes 25, 26 and 27
“s01e25e27” or “s01e27e25”: file contains episodes 25 and 27 but NOT episode 26
