Amazon Fire 10 tablet and 10-bit HEVC 1080p

More of a question for the Plex app developers.

The Plex app for Fire 10 tablets is unable to stream or download 10-bit HEVC 1080p files.

It is a variant of the Android app for FireOS, and I have read that standard Android tablets are ok playing 10-bit HEVC 1080p in Plex. I have also side-loaded the Android app, and still no joy.

If I use VLC, I am able to play 10-bit HEVC 1080p without issues, so the Fire 10 is perfectly capable of this.

So this seems to be something specific about the playback library being used by the Android app being unable to playback 10-bit HEVC 1080p on FireOS.

Is this something you are able to look into correcting?
