Since a couple of days, when I start my plex app on my Amazon Fire stick 4K, the picture for each profile (see picture) is blurry. This did not happen before, and I am unsure if it is a setting I would need to change or if it an issue with the latest release.

I moved over to plex (pass) today from Emby and I’m having this same issue on 4 fire tv sticks. Web app and playstore are both fine

Yes Plex it would be nice to know if you acknowledge the problem and provide a fix soon. My guess is this issue was introduced when the themes where rollout on the Amazon Fire stick 4k.
Anyone know whether there is a fox for this? Quite annoying tbh that plex has not responded yet
Does make you wonder if any of the Plex staff actually run the product themselves, some of the bugs like this are so obvious… 
This has been an issue for a few weeks so in theory it will be broken for another 50 weeks minimum. Zero QC with the Android app.
Better start writing those unit tests!
Same here. I show the latest update for me was the 13th and this started to happen same time. I tried clearing cache. No change. Clearing data with no change. re-install with no change. update server with no change. reboot server with no change. changed one of the pictures and still no change. At a loss here. I find it hard to believe that no one else is really having this issue. I would have expected this thread to have a ton of responses. I am using a Toshiba Firetv and I have Firetv 4k sticks as well doing the same thing. PLEASE HELP Plex.

I’m having the same problem, the profile image and the images of actors from the movies disappeared only on my firetv 4k, in a test with a browser and even with the samsung tv app UN50RU7100GXZD all work perfectly, except the firetv 4k people from the plex left the fire app aside?

As far as I am aware the devs were able too repro and were testing a fix. But I don’t think it was confirmed and didn’t make it into last release. Many folks away for holidays so likely will not see a release after Jan 1
I have the same issue plus other users not showing up to be selected. It began with the blurry images, as described above. Now it only displays the admin user (still blurry). I have a managed user and another home user that are not being displayed.
Could it be a related issue?
