Installed yesterday, working perfectly. No changes on the server side but it refuses to start now. I have been busily creating MKV files and wanted to test the results but can’t … Sod’s Law huh? No issues with a web browser, iPad or Samsung phone. I have rebooted the Fire TV but same issue. Checked all settings in the Windows 10 media server and they were the same as yesterday…so I guess it’s flaky software for the Fire TV App then?
I have now read pretty much every post on the same “Plex is unable to start due to an error” subject and there seems to be no post with an answer? If this is such a common problem how come there isn’t a FAQ with an answer and, more importantly, an update to the software to fix the error…seems like it’s been a problem for at least 2+ years now.
