An error occurred - Plex on Mi Box S from Synology NAS

Server Version#: 1.18.7.2457-77cb9455c
Player Version#: Not detectable. It is the latest version I can get through the play store on my Mi Box S

Hey there!

I have an issue with Plex I just started using. I want to play movies and series from two different Synology DiskStations. All that works absolutely fine. However, there are a lot of files that give me an error when I try to start those. In English the error would say something like: An error occured trying to play this item. Please restart server and player.

The weird thing is: In my first room where I have set up a TV with a Mi Box S it works just fine. Another TV in the same network running with a managed Plex user, and also with a Mi Box S won’t start most of the movies.

I am not 100% sure but I tend to think it has something to do with DTS Audio. As far as I know the Mi Box S supports DTS audio.

Heres the media info of one of the files, if this helps.

Thanks a lot for any help! I really wanted to use plex and not that DSVideo anymore…

Need more than XML to diagnose.

Need the DEBUG log ZIP (no VERBOSE) of an actual playback session which fails.

Plex Media Server Logs_2020-03-15_19-54-46.zip (6.0 MB)

Thank you for your answer. I attached the zip file - I hope this is the correct one and in the correct form. Right before I tried to start the movie room 1408, which did fail.
