Analyze function no longer working. All new Video and Audio is "None" and won't play

@curtise @mpmchugh could I ask you to try the upgrade again, repeat a test to get the issue - running with debug logging enabled before the upgrade - and then download the server logs and also this time, download the database. The database zip will probably be large to attach in the forum - so please upload the zip externally and send me a download link by private message

Thanks

Just reporting I seem to be having the exact same issue. However reverting back to 1.40.0.7998 has not changed the behavior for me. Le me know if you need anything from me

Can you get debug server logs after adding media to a library and the analysis is not done. Could you do two tests - one with the public release 1.40.0.7998 and one with the latest beta 1.40.1.8173

Apologies: after checking which version I have downgraded to I realized I must have mixed up my installation source. 1.40.0.7998 allowed me to add new files that are analyzed and playable.

I had somehow downgraded first to 1.32.xxxx.

Thanks for confirming - interesting you and the other 2 users are also running on Mac OSX version 10.13.6.

At the moment, the development team are waiting for the additional diagnostics I requested here Analyze function no longer working. All new Video and Audio is "None" and won't play - #22 by sa2000

@bouchard.vince @curtise @mpmchugh - sent you a test build to try to see if it resolves the issue

Please let me know how it goes and get me debug logs at the end of the test - even if it works

Thank you

Hi @sa2000 , I havent had much time but i just completed the update and tried adding a new file to the library. Unfortunately the same symptoms happen.
