Continuing the discussion from Plex for Mobile (Android & iOS):
Unfortunately, anamorphic video is still broken for iOS and the Apple TV preview. Previously it would just play squished horizontally (instead of 16:9, it would be 4:3). Now it fills the 16:9 display but is still squished to 4:3 and the top/bottom of the frame are cropped off. Example here: Plex iOS/tvOS new client anamorphic issues - Album on Imgur
