Android app 8.23.1.28053 crashes when playing recorded TV show

Player Version#: 8.23.1.28053
Server is Windows 10, running latest Plex Server.

I have TV shows that were recorded via Plex Live TV/DVR (OTA). When I play them on my phone, some audio plays for a few seconds but then the app repeatedly crashes. Does not play the video. I tried downloading/syncing the video to the phone, and then it plays fine. Something to do with the transcoding maybe?

Had the issue on Galaxy S10e running Android 11 and the latest version of Plex app.

My other phone is a Pixel 5 with Android 11, and it was NOT on the latest version of the Plex app and it worked fine. Then I updated the Plex app to the latest and now this phone has the same issue.

Updated my Android app to version 8.24.0.28408, problem still exists.

Upgraded my server to version 1.24.4.5081, problem still exists.
