I purchased this app on the Google Play store back in 2015, but now it keeps telling me I have to ‘activate’ it every month or so. I have to uninstall and reinstall to remove this notification. While it is ‘not activated’ I can’t watch movies for more than 1 minute. I have it on multiple devices and it will work on one, while not working on another. I’ll fix it, then the app on the other device will stop working a little later. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this? I suspect purchasing it again would fix the issue, but Google can’t refund me due to the date it was purchased and I can’t buy the app twice. I need to keep the Google play account - can’t buy it on another account.

Restoring your previous purchases should do the job.

Keep in mind this will only work in the App Store and the respective account you used to buy the app!
Unfortunately this does NOT do the job… I’m currently dealing with Plex on this issue and sent them my logs. Yes I’m using the correct Google Play account and yes I see it in my purchase history. I viewed the logs and Plex’s billing server is not finding my purchase. Waiting for Plex’s response.
UPDATE: Plex took a look at my log and said Google wasn’t reporting the purchase so they changed “something” to make it so my app would activate. Hopefully it stays that way and I won’t have to contact them again.
