Android app always plays splash screen from home screen, despite being in memory

If I switch back to the Plex app through Recents it will load straight up because the app is in memory, but every time I open it from the home screen I get the splash screen which is starting to get a little annoying. Even if I’m in Plex, go to the home screen, then immediately open Plex again, the splash screen will play.

I have the same problem and it makes me feel too controlled. If I type in the plex tv link site, show me the site or show me why you choose not to. Instead I get some login to the account page. I ALWAYS HAVE TO FIRE UP a windows machine after my cell phone can’t do the four digit tv link.

Good news, latest Plex for android beta fixes this on my end (OnePlus 7 Pro w/ A11) so it should hit stable soon.

Side note but, do you by chance have an issue with the notification center entry for Plex randomly disappearing during audio playback and if you use Bluetooth, ceasing to respond to media controls via BT?
