I have recently changed over my media management to Plex. I have a Raspberry Pi running RasPlex connected to my TV and the Plex app on my Samsung Android phone. This is my problem.
When I open the app on my phone, browse to a tv show, connect to the RasPlex and push “Play” it looks like it has started and shows the scrub bar on the bottom, , but it does not appear on the TV. Then, if I disconnect from RasPlex, suddenly it appears on the TV. Now I can reconnect and control it on the tv.
