It also always forgets the sort order when you leave the My Podcasts section.
To re-create this bug, just go to the My Podcasts screen and click the Play All button up top.
It defaults to playing all of the episodes of the first show it finds alphabetically, something nobody would possibly want it to do in any circumstance.
If you want to make Plex the best Android podcast app around (since they screwed up Pocket Casts), then it should default to listing 1) Unplayed 2) Episodes in order of 3) Release Date. When it lists those episodes, it should show the name and/or logo of the podcasts. And when you press play, it should play what’s on the screen in that order. Also, On Deck is largely useless for podcasts because people don’t consume them like they do TV shows.
