Posting here since it looks like there have been multiple reports of this over the past few months in the Mobile Player forum but no responses.

Been happening for a while, brand new S20+, Plex will play a show, movie, whatever, but after a while it will freeze…yet the time bar continues. If you back out and try to resume, the same thing occurs. The ONLY way to get around this is to force close the app…only for it to inevitably happen again.
My other Android device is on 6.17.1.5294, never has this problem. Unfortunately can’t seem to downgrade the S20+ back that far.
