Android app not showing my library in search results

In the Android mobile and Android TV apps I don’t get any local media results in search. I only get results from TIDAL and More Ways To Watch. Tried reinstalling clearing cache etc.

Is your library enabled in the search preferences of those clients?

Currently I only have Plex Web at hand… the preferences should be similar on the mobile client (Panoptikum is my local server).

Yes all sources enabled. Plex web search does work so it appears to be limited to Android both TV and Mobile.

Hmm… I’m still on 9.2.3 and get search results from local servers and Discover. I take it you enabled the local library on your Android client, didn’t you (given this is a client-specific preference)?

Edit: I just checked with somebody who is also on the 9.3.0 beta versions. They will get the search results from their own/shared libraries as expected.
So it seems there’s no general issue with that version.
Can you confirm you have enabled the server in question as a source in the search preferences of the Android devices in question (not only in Plex Web / some other client)?

All available sources enabled in Android search options which for me is my server, local files, more ways to watch.

Search results just show tidal and more ways to watch.

Just learned this is a known issue for very specific circumstances with the 9.3 beta. Supposed to be fixed soon.

I have the same issue, in my search settings I’ve disabled all sources other than my server and anything I search for either returns a no search results or items in Free On Demand. Not that big a deal for me cause I rarely use search on my phone app, but would be nice if it worked when I do want to use it.

I can also confirm search is completely broken on the android mobile client with the 9.3 beta.

Came across this issue yesterday when trying to search for a film and only getting results for ‘Free on Demand’.
