Plexamp - Podcasts appear in search results in non-podcast library

Just started using the new plexamp on Mac & Android and loving it so far. One thing I’ve noticed is that when I search anything podcast options appear in the search results even if the library is a music library only. Is there any way to turn this off? This does not happen on the desktop version of plex

Not at the moment, sorry.

I just started using this app as well - I’ve been waiting for something like this for a while!

For me, if I do a search, I only see podcasts. None of my local library shows up at all.

The only way I can play my music with this app is to play something that was already recently played on Plex, or pick a radio preset. The radio presets randomly chooses my music and plays it fine. I can also play the “recently played” Artists/albums just fine.

Under the “Mix Builder”, it’ll show round icons of artists that were recently played, but if I do a search, it doesn’t provide any results either.

I do have the Source set to my local library in settings.

I’m running Plexamp on a Motorola G7 Power (Android). My server is running on windows 10, and is updated to the most recent release. Any suggestions or ideas? Is anyone else experiencing this?

I actually had the same problem, it’s a documented bug in Plexamp. Easiest way to fix it is to go to the Plex Web app, go to your music library settings, manage library, edit, advanced, and check include in dashboard

Thanks - That fixed it!

Hopefully they’ll work out the bug though - I don’t like the music section being part of my dashboard… But this is all a step in the right direction!

Thanks again!
