Android App Request - Zoom & Post Processing

I would like the Android app to support “zooming” similarly to how you can press “z” using the Windows TV client. This would be helpful to zoom 16:9 content to crop the sides and make it fit the screen eliminating the black bars.

Post processing would also be nice so that we could manually raise the brightness to make very dark scenes in movies more visible.

I’m really surprised that no one has +1 this request. Do the black bars wasting space and basically “unwatchable” dark scenes not annoy anyone else?

Using Live TV with HD Homerun Prime and all my SD Channels have black borders on all 4 side. I have a tablet and it’s like watching on a phone. On the phone it’s like watching on…a watch. Please add the zoom function.
