Pretty much what the title says. I synced the episode to my phone but it tries to play it from the server and since I have a terrible internet upload I can’t watch it. How can I correct?
So you have “prefer synced content” enabled, or are in the local device library?
Yeah, prefer synced content is on.
OK thanks will test. If you open up menu ( click on avatar top left) and enable offline browsing, which should switch everything over to local device does it play local?
I’ll try when I get back home. I deleted cache and data trying to fix a streaming issue (which I think is just my internet)
So the sync suddenly works now, oddly…
Would syncing from a subnet (extender) affect the syncing? Because I synced directly connected to the router and that seemed to be fine opposed to syncing while connected to my extender.
That really should not matter. If there was a successful sync, and you have "prefer synced selected, it should play that local file. I did try a few times and could not reproduce but must be some scenario that causes what you saw.
