Android app will not connect to a live channel - BUG in the code?

Hi,
When I try to connect to the PMS server and pull a live channel I get an “An error has occured try again later”.
What does the really mean?
What log will file will tell me?
What am I looking for in the file?

I have PMS running on linux.

so… I unselected several of the 600 channels I get from Charter/Spectrum in the dvr line up. The guide on my android phone is pulling up channels that are not part of the selected channels. So as shown above for example… my android is going to the PMS to connect to channel 66 and 69 … but those channels are not selected to be displayed/used by the DVR per the setup in PMS.

So why would the android app display “watch now - live tv shows” that are not what I selected?

BTW - if I select a channel on my android that I did select under the dvr setup on PMS it plays beautifully.

How is this resolved? a config issue or a bug in the code?
