Help! I’ve been having troubles recently with my Live TV. My setup is;
PC running latest PLEX server with Linux Mint OS
Hauppauge WinTV-soloHD Tuner
Android Tablets with PLEX App
Android TV boxes (Mi Box and Nvidia Shield Pro)
I can watch Live TV through the server seamlessly on my tablet. On the Android boxes, I can watch Live TV following a reboot of the PC, but only one or two channels before I can’t connect, with an error message stating I can’t connect, try again later. A reboot once again fixes the issue but I still have the same instability. I know I can run the server from the Shield but I’d prefer to keep my current setup.
I don’t know where the issue is given the perfect functionality on the tablet, but the instability on the boxes.
Exact Error - ‘There was an error while attempting to tune the selected channel. Please check your connection and try again’. [OK] Down the bottom is a message, ‘Recording Failed: Live TV - Session’.
I’ve posted some logs. The activity demonstrating the problem starts around 16:17 on 10th July,
