Android Auto comingling items from multiple Music libraries even after selecting only one

I have two music libraries setup, “Music” and “Books”. When using the Plex app on my phone everything works as expected. When using Android Auto on the same phone, the music libraries are intermingled. When I access Music -> “Music” I get “Recently Played” and “Recently Added” items from the “Books” library (in addition to items from “Music”). Likewise, the same thing happens when I access Music -> “Books”; in addition to items from the “Books” library I get “Recently Played” and “Recently Added” items from the “Music” library.
