I just added a second regular (not premium) music library, this one for all my audiobooks so they’re not mixed in with the regular music. I went into Android Auto to enjoy a book on a long ride, and found to my surprise that only the original Music library I had added years ago was visible. The new library, named “audiobooks” couldn’t be seen by Android Auto.
Is this normal? A bug? Marked ‘wontfix’ or can this be corrected?
Android Auto does not allow for changing libraries. It’s a limitation they have. To change libraries, you need to open up the regular Plex app and select the new music library there. Auto will then use the library that the app has selected.
I don’t think I’ve selected any library on the regular Android plex app for music, but I’ll give that a try next time. Annoying, but good to know it’s not Plex’s fault.
