Android auto does not allow me to play local music files

Hi,

I’m subscribed to the Plex Pass (and that is the main reason I subscribed) to play local music files in my car. It works fine when i’m playing through cell data. However there is no way to access the local files. The only options I have on Plex Android Auto is the following:

Music

  • Playlists : all playlists existing on the selected Plex Media Server
  • Recently Played : Recent Artists that were played from the server
  • Recently Added : Recently added Albums on the server

I don’t have access to Artists or Downloaded menu item. Do you know what could be wrong ?

My Plex android client is version 8.14.1.23548.
Android auto version 6.2.610914-release
