As a family, we purchased the Plex pass so that we could download our music onto phones and play it using Android Auto in our car without using data. We seem to be unable to access anything past the letter O in our libraries. This is happening with two different phones, and I do not know if it is a Plex or an Android Auto issue, but it is frustrating to not have that ability. When we try to find information about this, we have seen that some people say to use voice commands to get the other music to play, but it appears that it only works when you are streaming from your server, not on downloaded music. Does anyone know if there is something we can do to fix this?
Hi, I am getting the same problem on my system but cannot access anything past letter K!
I have just upgraded to Plex 9.7.0.34811 and version 8.0.623354 of Android auto on my phone. I have had the issue with two phones and two different Pioneer head units. My phone has 26GB of downloaded music. The problem seems to start when the downloads get over 20GB.
If it is a safety feature it is not a very good one!
