Has there been any word on integration with Android Auto units in cars?
I’m interested too, I use Android Auto with Spotify but would prefer to use Plex.
The one challenge the Plex dev’s will have is the amount of info Google lets you put on a screen at a time and how many times you can click to scroll. I think it’s something like 5 clicks max.
Like with Spotify, I can only see around 10-12 of my playlists. I can’t even access anything beyond that and this isn’t Spotify’s fault it’s the limitations in Android Auto (apparently to make driving “safer” though they don’t realize that instead we’re pulling out the USB cable and using the app over bluetooth directly instead to have access to everything on the phone. So it’s kind of a disappointment due to the imposed limitation. But maybe Plex can design something that can handle the limitations better.

Im surprised its not supported already being the a mount of time android auto has been out.
Im a Plex Subscriber and now use plex for everything from photos to TV but in stuck with using another app to play music in the car.
I Really hope its possible and will be available soon.
