I have been a lifetime plex pass member since 2020. With the most recent updates, the download button has disappeared. There is still a download folder and download options, but no button to download. Any ideas? There really needs to be a way to contact support.
From where are you trying to download those videos?
I can see the download button on the details page of a movie or episode/season/show. It’s also listed in the context menu, if you long-press an item from library view or the hubs on your home screen.
Mark as Watched/Unwatched and More → ⠇Mark as Watched/Unwatched and before ManageYou cannot download from Discover pages (incl. the watchlist).
Yes, that is where the download button use to be. It is not there anymore.
Are you signed into the app with your Plex Pass account?
If you’re using a managed user for yourself… did you grant it permission to download?
Does the issue persist after restarting your app (force-quit and restart) and server?
I have no managed users, just me as the admin. I had already restarted the app. I just rebooted both the phone and the server and the download option is back. Very weird, I have not happen in all the years I have been using it. Thank you for the help.
