(windows version) Up until a week ago, I was able to download off two servers. Now the download button has disappeared. I checked on the web version of plex and missing it from there too. I have the lifetime subscription, have tried logging out and back in. I’ve also checked with someone else in the home and their account can still download from the server.
This is two separate and distinct features. The Download File option in Plex Web is just a plain file download and it’s only available to the server admin.
The other apps (Plex for Mac/Windows/Linux, mobile clients) offer an option to sync media so it’s available for offline streaming within the app. This needs to be enabled by the server owner for each shared user individually.
So had to have the server account remove my account than readd my account.
