Android Head Unit Black Screen with sound

I have Plex installed on a cheapo android head unit (Vanku, model PX6) running android 10. Recently plex won’t play video. Just shows a blank screen. Audio plays fine. Skip intro button shows (and works). Can’t play any video. Doesn’t seem to matter if I direct play (h265 files) or tell the service to transcode.

The ‘freebie’ services that plex is now offering don’t play video either, just audio with a black screen. Not exactly sure how to get logs off of this device.

I’m wondering if I need an older version of Plex, or if there is some other fix. Please help.
